The Checking Account is a Sight Deposit Account that can benefit from means and instruments of payment. The management of the Checking Account is regulated by a written account agreement and is of indefinite duration.

The account holder and/or their authorized representative can carry out different types of operations including:

In debit: Subject to compliance with the available balance of the account or authorized transaction limits: Payment by check, bank card, transfer orders, or direct debit authorization.
Power of Attorney
The account holder can give power to another person to act on their behalf by signing a power of attorney: the operations carried out by the designated agent (withdrawals, issued checks, transfers) then engage the account holder, who is responsible for them.
